Okaye, 601st post! Haha

Anyways for today, went to lesson, didn't have too much mood to study cos of the stuff going on! First of all, after school watched The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (Dragon of the Tomb Emperor) with Aaron, supposed to have some other people along but all backed out so never mind!

Reviews on the movie..hmm kinda like 7/10, graphics were pretty good, story was okok la, cheenaxz history with abit of magic, whoo~ action scene was abit short though, the final duel between the Dragon Emperor and Rick O' Connell..yeah overall I thought it was kinda good,and money well spent for a 2 hour movie! And it's $6 only!! =D

After that had like almost 2 hours to burn, so like went on a road-trip kinda thing,first walked to the AMK Mrt bus-stop, took 88 to Hougang, had an Cheese Prata and Milk Tea then walk slowly to the other bus-stop, took another 88 and went straight to Pasir Ris, take my own sweet time go to the MRT and take all the way to City Hall, CheeseBun! I'm still early! By like 20mins or so!

Walked around HMV checking out stuffs first. Later went back to City Hall to meet the rest of the Amp Log Team (or Movers as we wanna call ourselves) then headed out for dinner. Actually wanted this Chicken Rice place opposite the road but was alil' ex so decided to go to Bras Basah Complex food court instead, had fried rice there and it was pretty good. Problem is I had like 2 freaking flies in my soup, dead. Lucky ate enough already -.- Then finally Benedict made his way, so full the places already.

Headed to SMU's basement for session later, nice place though, quiet, comfy, except cos it's empty any lil' sound made's like echo through the place. Anyways, cell was good I guess, except abit chim at times but oh wells, pray for understand and wisdom! Later went straight home! Had pretty nice memories about it cos they're fun people to be with I'll say, yeah thank God man!

Okaye, 600th Post man! Hmm well I'm not sure what to say so I guess talk 'bout today..

First of all, manage to get up on time when alarm rang and manage to dazed around! Bad thing is fell back to sleep man! Hiaz then cos kept getting bothered by phone alarm so finally just woke up la! And crap mans, I woke up with a very very dry throat, so next time I will not eat anything heaty or spicy(o smthing smthing lalala)again!

Anyways, didn't have my usual breakfast on Wednesday where my parents would drive to somewhere near and eat so had homecooked stuff, not filing one leh ): anyways yeah, sat around the house for awhile more before going out to school..

School today was okok la. still abit blur about some stuff but getting a lil' better, er yeah definietely need some hard work! & lot's of it! After lessons was planning on watching The Mummy: The Tomb of the Dragon Emperor which Aaron calls Dragon of the Tomb Emperor, LOL! Later walked around AMK Hub before leaving for Potong Pasir.

Basically had the worship team practice, went kinda well thanks to Stefan coming and giving tips and advice and stuff, yeah but freaking ex and stuff! $16 an hour man! =X anyways, met some people and all and like that's basically it! Now wanna share something I found off the St Gab's YCS Blog:

Gosh man! They include like 2 packets of oily substances so it's like there's this digusting layer of oil, contaminated my mouth and my drink man! Now stinks man, hope the Dark Passion Mints and water and Pepsi can get rid of the smell man, sucks so much!!

So some snippets ( or something) of life this few weeks, like first of all went to class (goodboy ok!) then studied abit too!

Anyways, today had a long day at school and stuff..went there, had laughs, had serious times, had blur times, yeah that''s it.

After school went home, threw junk out then went to J8 for the March Camp Eveluation meeting, got over and done with, then back here, the end, night world!

School started again, yeah but the weather sucked today man! Rain and rain and rain! -.-

But lucky MRTs are like...waterproof? Haha, anyways so like reached about 10mins late but to find out that lesson cancelled cos teacher sick so like now got 1 or 2 hour to burn till 12pm, GRR! Then tomorrow got make-up again, after school end got extra Physics lesson. So like supposed to be 1pm end one become something like 2.30 or 3?? That makes up like 3 hours of Science in 1 day man!




So like anyways, Aaron baked cookies for everyone, omg they're good man! Like chocolate chips and some are peanut butter chips man! And like after class he gave me those left to eat(which is quite alot), YAY-ness man XD

So gonna bath and stuff, study, eat, rot , sleep!

So updates again, after homework and stuff died out, I'm stuck in my dark room again...listening to some songs when this friend of mine shared this with me, kinda shock cos it's like first time hear so much from her about God and stuff!

Whoa, okok today got woken up by mum's cos sis having tutition in the room so like hiaz, stoned in another room until her lessons

Later bathed and stuff and went out about 12.30pm and guess what manxz:



I've never seen the train going down to City Hall from my place so empty man, I mean like I guess it's the middle of the day and stuff, but what's good is that it's a pleasant kinda view la, no people's head blocking the view of outside!

First stop was Plaza Sing, walked around, bought a chain thingy for phone and then another part of it from Daiso ($2,$2,VERI Cheap Cheap!), then like walked and roamed around for awhile, saw Matchap and Stanley (apparently, naughty naughty then followed them too), after that had they had to leave so changed location!

Stopped over at Far East, checked out stuff, tried out this short at this random shop, yah! Gonna go back some day man! Then tried this Guns N' Roses Appetite For Destruction T-Shirt, fits but freaking cost $39! Uh-oh...so I guess buy another day lurh ): Well all in all had fun, looking for stuff..

Was supposed to have a practice session for the worship team for Anniversary afterwards but was cancelled cos wells, I dunno! NVM!! TATA~

Ended, walked around then go to St. Gab's for meeting, discussed about some stuff and finally got the plan out with Dilion. Later went home after walking around Serangoon Central,oh yah ran into Mat Red too, LOL anyways about enough for one day, OUT!

Question 1: What do desires does inside our hearts?
- It causes a war and struggle insides us against temptation, as we try to overcome sin where we often fail.
- We want to do good deeds and follow God’s will but we often fail and that’s the war we face everyday in our lives.
- We don’t want to sin
- However we kept sinning, but we just want to please God to be good.

Question 2: How do we overcome sin, where the world is filled with it?
- We need to ask ourselves what is the battlefield like in our hearts, when we are fighting against the power of sinning against God.
- The Bible verse (Romans 6:11-14) describes that there is a great conflict between God and the evil inside our hearts.

8 Observations of the war inside our heart
1. There is a Reign

a. Namely Sin
b. Need to resist evil (sin)

3. Castle is under attack
a. Refers to your body
b. Attacks by Sin
c. Don’t let it reign in your mortal body

4. Subjects in the castle
a. Refers to our desires
b. Sin turns our desire becoming evil

5. Slow surrender of throne

6. Weapons in the castle
a. Refers to the parts of your body
b. It can be capture by Sin, use by enemy (Sin), against you and God.
c. Don’t let Sin against your body parts against you and God (True King)

8. Ruling of throne
a. The true ruling of the throne in our hearts is God
b. Sin will always try to topper God out of our hearts

3 Observed learning points
1. God is our true king
a. Our desire and body belongs to God
b. We’re called to be loyal to the God
c. Keep our trust, and obey Him

2. Sin is a power
a. Sin is not simply an act
b. But its also a power, thus we struggle against it as we tend to incline to Sin
c. When sin controls our desires, it affects what we do (our body parts)

3. Desires are not sin in themselves
a. Desires are gifts from God
b. It can be captive by Sin, turning them into traitors
c. It will then seduces us to surrender to sin (listening to evil desires)
d. Traitors (Evil desires) turns us away from God by sinning
e. Examples:
f. Hunger & Gluttony
g. Thirst & Caffeine addiction
h. Sexual desire (meant for reproduction) Lust for pornography, pre-martial sex
i. Sleep (Rest) & Laziness

How this war works?
Sin Captures Our Desires &Lies/Cheats You

After sinning, it feels good for the moment. It brings half true (a lie). However the aftermath, we will feel the guilt and pain of sin.

Sin takes our desires to lie to us. It eventually makes us less peacefully, happy, and closeness to God. Sin is fighting for the throne of your soul. Don’t let sin take control of your desires.

Saint James says that the tongue is the most terrible weapon of our body part. If it is captive by sin, it can do the most terrible and hurtful words to others and it can make a huge impact on the lives of others badly. We need to guard our lips, and do not allow it to fall to sin. Do not let the weapons of our body to be captive by sin, where it destroys us and God.

Conclusion:
· The big issue, who is your true king, who sits on your throne, who controls your life, who you give your life to, who are you submitting to, who are your desire ,listening to, who do you give up your body parts to?
· Is it God or sin?
· Who will you serve?
