Stop telling God how big your storm is.
Instead tell your storm how big your GOD is!

In Phoenix, Arizona, a 26-year-old mother stared down at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination. Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up and fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible.. The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dreams to come true. She took her son's hand and asked, "Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with your life?" Mommy, "I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up." Mom smiled back and said, "Let's see if we can make your wish come true." Later that day she went to her local fire department in Phoenix, Arizona, where she met Fireman Bob, who had a heart as big as Phoenix. She explained her son's final wish and asked if it might be possible to give her six-year-old son a ride around the block on a fire engine. Fireman Bob said, "Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the fire station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! And if you'll give us ! his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform for him, with a real fire hat-not a toy one-with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots. They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix, so we can get them fast." Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his fire uniform and escorted him from his hospital bed to the waiting hook and ladder truck. Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help steer it back to the fire station. He was in heaven. There were three fire calls in Phoenix that day and Billy got to go out on all three calls. He rode in the different fire engines, the paramedic's van, and even the fire chief's car. He was also videotaped for the local news program. Having his dream come true, with all the love and attention that was lavished upon him, so deeply touched Billy that he lived three months longer than any doctor thought possible. One night all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically and the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept that no one should die alone, began to call the family members to the hospital. Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition. The chief replied, "We can do better than that. We'll be there in five minutes. Will you please do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming and see the lights flashing, will you announce over the PA system that there is not a fire? It's just the fire department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And will you open the window to his room? About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to Billy's third floor open window 16 firefighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's room. With his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they loved him. With his dying breath, Billy looked up at the fire chief and said, "Chief, am I really a fireman now?" "Billy, you are, and the Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand," the chief said. With those words, Billy smiled and said, "I know, He's been holding my hand all day, and the angels have been singing.." He closed his eyes one last time.

This story is powerful and there is nothing attached, please do not break this pattern; uplifting stories are one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to uplift one another.

Today was kinda pretty much relaxed,D&T lesson laugh untill stomach cramp because the ppl frm back to front(my D&T group) were joking about the Uzap thing and joking about all sorts of stuff. english was also pretty much of a joke with nick joking how our teacher looked like Big Momma and lucky for him, the teacher didn't hear that. after that chinese lesson after recess must compelete some crappy exercise in an assesment book which i happen to have done before so i bought my copy there to copy but then stupid nick had to grab it from under my book where i was hiding it and passed it to somewhere else, in front of the teacher and got it confiscated but lucky i could get it back, under his own nose. math lesson was violent cause aloy's anger burst out because ming jie was getting irrating. it started with shouting then ming jie was still smiling which really pissed him off and he threw his chair at him which missed though and hit a sea monster on the arm and the teacher didn't even care, like LOL!

I knelt to pray but not for long,

I had too much to do.

I had to hurry and get to work

For bills would soon be due.

So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,

And jumped up off my knees.

My Christian duty was now done

My soul could rest at ease.

All day long I had no time

To spread a word of cheer.

No time to speak of Christ to friends,

They'd laugh at me I'd fear.

No time, no time, too much to do,

That was my constant cry,

No time to give to souls in need

But at last the time, the time to die.

I went before the Lord, I came,

I stood with downcast eyes.

For in his hands God held a book;

It was the book of life.

God looked into his book and said

"Your name I cannot find.

I once was going to write it down...

But never found the time"

Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart,
are real weak and most susceptible?

Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others
are the ones that really need someone to protect them?

Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are:
I love you, Sorry and help me.

Did you know that those who dress in red
are more confident in themselves?

Did you know that those who dress in yellow
are those that enjoy their beauty?

Did you know that those who dress in black,
are those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and understanding?

Did you know that when you help someone,
the help is returned in two folds?

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
The gunpowder treason and plot,
I see no reason why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes,
'Twas his intent
To blow up the King and the Parliament.
Three score barrels of powder below,
Poor old England to overthrow:
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, make the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
Hip hip hoorah!
A penny loaf to feed the Pope.
A farthing cheese to choke him.
A pint of beer to rinse it down.
A faggot of sticks to burn him.
Burn him in a tub of tar.
Burn him like a blazing star.
Burn his body from his head.
Then we'll say ol' Pope is dead.
Hip hip hoorah!
Hip hip hoorah!

Well, today had YCS session which 1 arrived extra early like 9.20amSo like sat around the center and walked here and there before walking to the mall nearby and bought some stuff and went to the bus stop in front of serangoon stadium and waited for matthew and he arrived on time at exactly 10.30am and he came with Samauel. So got to the hq and only daphne and antho was there so sorta did some admin work before real session started with only 3 person and durin prayer time, den arrived. later ignatius arrived with the stuff antho and aaron bought yesterday. sort of discussed about jesus's temtations during his 40 days in the desert. later when for lunch and drinks were on daphne :P. later when to heartland mall with matt and walked around and talked about life, the ppl we like and other crap. then i listened to a song on the way home and it really reminded me of mosey, that someone who i miss alot which is kinda funny cause when i listen to the song,i'll naturally think for her. anyways, here are the details of the song:

Where'd You Go
Fort Minor
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.

She said "Some days I feel like shit,
Some days I wanna quit, and just be normal for a bit,"
I don't understand why you have to always be gone,
I get along but the trips always feel so long,
And, I find myself trying to stay the phone,
'Cause your voice always helps me to not feel so alone,
But I feel like an idiot, workin' my day around the call,
But when I pick up I don't have much to say,
So, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singing

"Where'd you go?"
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...

You know the place where you used to live,
Used to barbecue up burgers and ribs,
Used to have a little party every Halloween with candy by the pile,
But now, you only stop by every once and a while,
Shit, I find myself just fillin' my time,
With anything to keep the thought of you from my mind,
I'm doin' fine, I plan to keep it that way,
You can call me if you find that you have something to say,
And I'll tell you, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Tellin' you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singing

Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...

I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', no longer debatin',
Tired of sittin' and hatin' and makin' these excuses,
For why you're not around, and feeling so useless,
It seems one thing has been true all along,
You don't really know what you've got 'til it's gone,
I guess I've had it with you and your career,
When you come back I won't be here and you can sing it...

Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone.
Where'd you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it's been forever,
That you've been gone,
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...
Please come back home...

Today's very sian.......got timetable change but still the same lessons. first kicked off school with boring lessons and PE,where we ran around the school area like siao people. Chem class the class got shouted by boiling stools nick also got scolding because he plucked an artifical flower from the classroom and then she finally replied my message which i asked why she never reply my recent messages because she was busy. math is 1 lesson that i dread cause have math test,arghh.......some questions quite hard....some people say they sure fail, hope we can make it through after that felt like poning physics but it would be considered truantcy so bo bian must go,did pratical and went home and me and ken made a run for 101 cause there was a rolling sea monster right behind us and we did not want to be on the same bus as him. ok so ride was kinda good at first, got 2 other class people on board as well. when we were out of the kovan area,we noticed the bus was empty except 2 of us(photos avaliable on friendster profile). later made way to swee lee which was quite hidden by layers of hdb blocks. while walking on the back alley of 1 block, a small bastard came out of nowwhere and started pissing all over a concrete ramp, what the f(_)(k, uncivlised barbarian and unhygenic mothaf(_)(k3r. then i think i bought the wrong guitar string......damm it.

Well, today was the day where the sec 3s&4s needed to do community service by helping out at an old folk's home run by the missonaries of charity which was founded by mother teresea(so there were portraits of her hung around the place). So,ok 1st asked to clean the windows which were positioned outside the toilet. I must admit thought, i kinda smell of the kind of toilet where people can't aim their pee properly and the smell's quite strong. After that, kind of just slacked with the rest of the sec3 cathes and talked crap. Then left at 3.15pm. Later received CIP forms for CIP points then went to play DOTA wif marianne, gab sng and venn. Bloody Hell, venn loved to kamazike and Gab was fighting God-Like cause his lvl was veri high.(onli marianne killed him twice) and managed to rush back for mass and was beginning on the gospel reading.

Well, these 3 days from Monday to Wednesday was spent on YCS March Camp. Well here's the overview of the camp:

Day 1:The Beginning
Actually i have a sore thorat and can't talk very well but didn't really care.Started the camp with an opening prayer and then played wacko. I was the 2nd final wacker and was quite violent with the stick. Vikkash got jacked and had to spell his name with his 455 as forfeit. Then splitted up the room into groups and the names were based on brands of mineral water. Later had traning session and a short 1 by outsiders. Then was the 1st game, the shi zhi lu kou were we had to match the last letters of food items and had to do 10. After spending lots of time, we only compeleted only about 5-7. There was dinner and then session again before a short game where we have to fufill weird orders like 5hands 4 legs.1 more session before night games. Started with the kissing game whereby a card is passed by the lips down the row until it reached the last person. After 1 round then very lucky get girl arghh...... but we only passed the card, so luckily nothing happened(1 guy from other group kissed a girl on the lips cause the card slipped.)Second was a tennis ball game and then a riddle game which was kinda hard. then came the fear factor where we had to eat "exotic" food. i got a weird smelling drink which nearly made me puke but luckily didnt but the other bugger couldn't and puked out the contents. most appeitasing item was the biscuit with the wasabi sauce. the mahjong paper game which was killer, had to survive 7 folds of a mahjong paper and must have at least 1 leg per person on it. when hanging on the pole i accidently knocked the same girl in the group who are standing and almost knocked all of them down :P then was an extremelly irrating game cause we needed to open a single chocolate bar with a plastic fork n spoon and your hands must be in a plastic bag but antho managed to pull it off but was quite barbaric with it. Later fell on bunk and slept.

Day 2:The Craziest And Freakiest Day Ever (Note.: the name of the girl i did the night walk with is not mentiioned due to privacy sake)
Ok...today was basically sessions sessions sessions in the morning and its damm boring, almost can sleep sia......sing a long after it all perked everyone up, a miracle cure isn't it? Then was the start of the worst thing: TELEMATCH!!!!!!!!!!!! ok, 1st item was Fu Fu ball where a ping-pong ball was pushed along a table of flour and the objective was to get it over to opponent's side, group lost though. Then was armpit juice where must wet a sponge and roll over a pit of mixtures which is quite digusting and use armpit and squeeze the water out, when 2 times.Dog and bone barbaric, people rushing after the "bone" n get it back to home plate before opponent catches up. Story telling was damm dirty cause every1 had to lie on the ground and they started spraying all sorts of crap on us. Mass activity tiring and later, someone got hit on the head with a egg cause he moved. Dinner and sing a long and spiriual session which lasted a couple of hours. Then is the dreaded night walk grouping and very lucky get 1 sec 4 girl frm HIHS and then heard an errie tale of the camp place(catholic Spirituality center) and heard 2 clips of ghosts(which some1 said its from the movie, the skeleton key. Well ok waited for a long time before me and my gal parthner could procceed. walked quite relaxed until we neared the stairs and someone popped up from behind the stairs in a scream mask and then me and her started screaming(LOL). The spiral stairs was scary and when apporaching she was abit freaked so like comforted her for awhile but nothing there because the clue was taken down. Entered a dark toilet and saw artifical hand prints on one cubicle and saw a poster which many people say is the similar 1 from St Nicholas School during their festival. Had to find letters written on stone but was fast and easy. Field was abit freaky cause it was all dark and could hear girl's scremaing on upper floors. Found a mysterious white cloth covering something but she was kinda scared that it will be freaky but according to her fren,it was funny and it was a watermelon with mop head sticking out of it. Pond was just wan jin standing there waiting us to type a message and show her before we go off to last station which was the girl's dorm. when in with antho and his parther so had 4 person and saw ber sitting on the toilet sink and then tell us to get out and suddnely 1 toilet cubicle door slams which sort of shock them and the 2 girls screamed. on the way out, some guy in a scream mask scared them again. supper time and zzzzzzzz time.

Day 3:It's Very Hard To Say Goodbye
Ok last day, sing a long kinda silent cause many people sleepy. Session was kinda long.packed and moved up to common room after a good lunch.game good, nobody won. then refelected on the entire camp. sing a few songs before going back.

Anyways now damm tired, until last time then!!!!!

A young and successful executive was traveling down a>neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He was watching for kids darting out from
between parked cars and slowed down when he thought he saw something.
As his car passed, no children appeared.Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to the spot where the brick had been thrown. The angry driver then jumped out of the car, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him up against a parked car shouting,"What was that all about and who are you? Just what the heck are you doing? That's a new car and that brick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Why did you do it?"The young boy was apologetic."Please, mister...please,I'm sorry but I didn't know what else to do,"He pleaded."I threw the brick because no one else would! stop..." With tears dripping
down his face and off his chin, the youth pointed to a spot just round a parked car."It's my brother," he said."He rolled off the curb and fell out of his wheelchair and I
can't lift him up."Now sobbing, the boy asked the stunned executive,"Would you please help me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and he's too heavy for me."
Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling lump in his throat He.
Hurridely lifted the handicapped boy back into the wheelchair then took out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything was going to be okay."Thank you and may God bless you," the grateful child told the stranger.Too shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalk toward their home. It was a long, slow walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair the dented side door. He kept the dent there to remind him of this message :Don't go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to get your attention!"God whispers in our souls and speaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't have time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us.It's our choice to listen or not.
Thought for the Day:
If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.
If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.
He sends you flowers every spring.
He sends you a sunrise every morning.
Face it, friend - He is crazy about you!

Today was the crappiest day most because it is the longest day of the entire school week. So, kicked start with a POA test on recording business transactions by Leger Accounts.1st part which is to answer which account to debit or credit, was mostly copied (:P). Then English peroid very sian...have to rush out an composition within 1/2 hour ya,also gobbled up an entire packet of pancake with cheese and tasted not bad. History period watched Hitler on colour, kinda intresting. Recess got fight but i missed it. Assembly on Road safety was quite boring except the part where the presemter show the various accident clips and everone laughts. Then a f(_)(k1n9 bitch teacher who teaches Math had to come out and disrupt the mood, for the sake of some of the people i know who is taught by this bitch,i will not mention this dog's name. So anyways the class moved their sorry a553s back to class but we went there by different routes and in small groups so teacher(who is the form teacher) made us walk the standard route to the hall and back again for 3 times. then got back chinese test results and was pretty dishearting cause was 2 marks away from passing so must copy a set text for penalty and the teacher was pretty sadisitc cause he also made people who passed and got marks below 30 to copy once.people who failed need to copy 2 times, nabeh.D&T boring...played with the saw and all...............hate this day, very sian sia...................."SIGH"

>One day I decided to quit...>>I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality...>I wanted to quit my life.>I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.>"God", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?">>His answer surprised me...>>"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?">>"Yes", I replied.>>"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of>them. I gave them light. I gave them water.>>The fern quickly grew from the earth.>Its brilliant green covered the floor.>>Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.>But I did not quit on the bamboo.>>In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.>>And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed.>But I did not quit on the bamboo. He said.>>"In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed.>But I would not quit.>In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed.>"I would not quit." He said.>"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth.>>Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...>But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall.>>It had spent the five years growing roots.>Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive.>>I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.">He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have>been struggling, you have actually been growing roots">>"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.">"Don't compare yourself to others." He said.>"The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern.>Yet, they both make the forest beautiful.">>"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high!">"How high should I rise?" I asked.>>"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.>"As high as it can?" I questioned.>"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can.">I left the forest and bring back this story.>>I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on>you.>>He will never give up on you.>>God says in Psalms 84: 11 that the Lord Jesus is your "sun (to give you>warmth and joy) and shield (to protect you) and He will not withhold>good things from those who walk uprighteously." Some minds are like concrete, thoroughly mixed up and permanently set.

God himself does not propose to judge a man until he is dead. So why should we?

Peace starts with a smile.

I don't know why some people change churches; what difference does it make which one you stay home from?

A lot of church members who are singing "Standing On The Promises" are just sitting on the premises.

Today school was kinda stupid:before school started, had 1st friday mass, attended with my YCS gang.physics bascially just copied what teacher has to say.Social study learned about Sri Lanka and learnt about how racist they are with the sinhalese bastards and bitches always trying to keep the tamils in control.lucky s'pore isn't like that.recess got fight and kinda of a racist thing with someone insulting a china person. POA lesson was abit longer cause need to compelete the crappy double-entry thing which is abit stupid cause have to keep on opening various accounts. YCS session arrived late at 1.30pm. session quite good and funny as usual. saw the best attendence in all the session. went to macs for a while and went back for tution but the bloody biatch didn't arrive so slack time!!!discussed about handphone choice and decided on the amsung D500C but need to buy data cable though.....

Here are the lyrics to my blog's background music ehjoy!!=)

Here I Am To Worship

Light of the World
You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes
Let me see
Beauty that made
This heart adore You
Hope of a life
Spent with You

Chorus:
Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You're my God
You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

King of all days
Oh, so highly exalted
Glorious in Heaven above
Humbly You came
To the earth You created
All for love's sake became poor

Chorus:
Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that
You're my God
You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross
I'll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Chorus X2:
Here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that
You're my God
You're altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me
