I got this from Eunicee...I wanna share it here cos it makes so much sense!

Naamon. He’s such a funny guy. I wanted to laugh just reading the passage in 2Kings 5:1-14.

Here’s the story. Naamon is a really successful man. The King likes him, he has won battles, etc. But there’s just one thing, he’s a leper. He heard about Elisha, who can cure leprosy, and he wants to be cured! So he travels that place, with his chariots and horses, looking very grand. When he reaches that place, Elisha asked him to dip himself in Jordan 7 times.

But he refused. Here’s what he was thinking,”Why can’t Elisha just wave his hands around me, and say some magic words to heal me?! Instead, he’s asking me to dip myself SEVEN times in the Jordan?!” His servants managed to persuade him to dip himself in the water, and he was healed.

Okay, so that was the story, summarized. I know that the summary isn’t that good, so its best that you read the passage la huh! And here’s what I thought about it!

1. Naamon came to Elisha with all his horses and his chariots. It’s got such a grand feeling, you can just tell that he’s brought his best, just to see Elisha. He brought loads of silver and gold as well. It was as if he was expecting something. So he gives, and he expects something in return.

It’s like us when we serve in our ministries isn’t it? We put our best foot forward, and we expect something from God as well.

Not only did Naamon expect something, he expected God to work in the way he wanted God to work! Like us too huh? Like how we do stuff in ministry and we expect God to perform in a particular way.

We’re trying to define God. We’re boxing Him up.We’re setting God limits. We’re limiting our expections as well.We get angry when God doesn’t come in the way we expect Him to come. When we do that, God doesn’t come through for us, because we don’t allow Him to. The same way God couldn’t come through for Naamon, because he refused to dip himself in the Jordan 7 times.

It was only when Naamon let go of his own expectations of the situation, could God work his wonders. So let’s try and let go of our expectations in our situations, and let God come through for us instead! Let us allow ourselves to trust in God, and allow Him to surprise us with His ways.

2. I realised also through this passage that God loves to empower people! Elisha could have told Naamon himself, but he chose to ask his servant to pass the message instead.

You see, God choose to use people, the same way Elisha used his servant to speak to Naamon. Through empowering the servant, Elisha allowed the servant to celebrate God’s work, by allowing him to be a part of the healing process. I know that it’s the good to do things ourselves, but it is way better having another person to help you.

3. Leprosy, it attacks your entire physical being right? I thought about it and likened it to sin, like how sin attacks our soul. And it bites and chews off bit by bit, till there's nothing left.

Washing in the Jordan takes on a whole different meaning for me. It really reminds me of us, being drenched in God’s love. Of us, being immersed in his love. And through that love, we’re saved, we’re restored, we’re healed. In the end, Naamon’s flesh was restored to that of a child.

And it strongly reminded me of how whenever we repent or when we run back to Christ, he extends the invitation for us to be his children again. In fact, the invitation is always open, never closed.

God loves you.

So yes, yeah I do feel very agreeable on whatever she mentioned and typed about, like it can really really relate into our lifes at time, and God's always on our side, praise you oh God!

So anyways, gonna blog on the sharing today, today's mass talked about compassion, and how the mordern society lacks it. It's kinda true in a sense, but in a Christian context, we are called to show compassion, love, charity and all things good. Yeah... that's about all I wanna share I guess...

'Mark 3:1-6'

Another time he went into the synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Some of them were looking for a reason to accuse Jesus, so they watched him closely to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath. Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, "Stand up in front of everyone."

Then Jesus asked them, "Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?" But they remained silent.

He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distressed at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

After having like shared on this passage during cell on Sunday, well kept me thinking. First of all like my initial reaction was like okay, wow. And then I kind of looked at it in our lives.

We are called to be like Christ, and in this passage, to heal others without question though our actions might be questioned and criticised. It's like the way we heal others can be physical; e.g. helping them bandage their wounds or if one is a doctor, do their best to treat the patient and stuff like that. But like the other aspects can be missing, how about spiritual and emotional aspects? Sometimes we all just tend to forget as Christians that those 2 matter as well. Praying for the person is what we can do and also to care and show love to them.

It's also important to note what Jesus said I guess, ' Which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill?' for me personally, it means that there shouldn't be a time we should not or should do good. It should be like a duty for eveyone as Christians to continue to do good, to love and do all good things basically.

Well that's it I guess, just felt like sharing this. Phew, good week ahead man!!! Anyways that's all for now, later!

WOW!!!

Okaye so went to the Adlephi, which is this mall opposite Funan, in the City Hall area, and saw and tested the earphones and stuff I had my eyes on, supringsly the $99 and $100+ Shures couldn't compare to a pair of Koss Portapro's, great cans and great sound at only $75!

I guess the Philips In-Ears can wait..till my Creative Ear-Buds haywire, heehaw!

Rightt, so tomorrow's Music Fest Prep day, then off to Amp!!! Some details and publicity people!

We will be entering into the last installment of God & Sexuality and we will be doing a little something different for this week!

Here's a couple of things to take note on whats happening on Friday! =)

No. 1.We will have a breakout session whereby Girls will have their own girly session and Guys will have their own guys session. In conjunction to that, we will be holding Amplify Friday session in 2 different places in CSC.

Guys: Session in Boys Dormitory (its the room next to Amplify Room, downstairs at Level 1) Speakers for the night: Leonard & Winston

Girls: Session in Small Auditorium (the one that we go to every week! so no change of place ya?)Speakers for the night: Cassilda & Josie

Fret not, there will be signs around and our hospi guys and girls to show you the way to the different rooms! =)

No. 2. Since we are having a split up session, we are throwing in a theme as well! We would like to encourage all of you to dress up on friday! like skirt/dressy tops/dresses for the girls or long-sleeved/short-sleeved shirt/pants for the guys. Think semi-formal along those lines....

Okaye so anyways, screw the Shure, the design kinda suck, haha so then came the Philips SHE9850, quite a nice desgin and reviews are pretty positive, price tag's good as well, only $99 or maybe lower compared to the Shures which cost more but design cost bloody lesser, yeah!

So yeah,after-accident report, wound on hand getting better, so is the 2 wounds on my right leg which are extra small, only the 2 bigger wounds take longer to heal, yeah!

People might know, I have this crappy leg pain cos my muscle screwed up or something, so mums gave me some pills which she claim can help so yeah I took em, wake up yesterday to find that I have an allergic reaction, puffed up eyes and stuff, sucks!

Later on the way to see doctor at Polyclinic, was with siblings, so took my bro's skate scooter, and I was SUPER-DEE-SWAY, didn't notice the drain and stuff, so took a fall man and it sucked, got like 6 injuries, of which 2 are on my already hurting left leg. 1 is quite serious though, an abrasion on my knee which would take damn long to heal according to some people.. hiazzz!

Okaye back to blogging, had very crap days, very good days, some bad days, some fun and blessed days...

So anyways todaye was supposed to have exco meeting but cos the job of informing people was only done half hearted-ly no one came but 3 people. Got literally screwed up cos of that, f***! Oh wells then postponed to next Sat which was supposed to be Valentine's day and also the day where plans were made to go LAN-ing but oh ****, thanks alot YCS, haha!

Had Music Fest Exco meeting, went well and stuff anyways. alot of things were iron-ed out though honestly I'm not very sure what I need to do or not do, oh man, so anyways meeting was dragged longer then expected cos I also seriously IDK why also..

Well headed to the coffee shop, got an ice-milo then had lan session with Anand and his cousin before heading back, done!

Also, like emotional issues and all start coming back, it's like I can't get HER but I can't forget the feeling but someone just told me..'But no one can do anything about it except you. So just try to control your emotions or if you really can't, God is always there for you.' [ thanks!! (; ] which is quite true!!

Okaye so yesterday went for Amplify's countdown party and stuff, but went for mass before that, thought was gonna be late but still made it on time, YAY!

So like went for party then stone-ed awhile before Claypotty and benny came, so yeah! HAHA was a good time actually, all praises go to God manxz! After party went to Claypot's place to crash, and I got a good spot, on the floor, lol! Neck damn pain la!!

Woke up, had lunch go home, then there was a MRT train that had problems at Pasir Ris station then the departing train were all delayed so yeah, the rest of the stations confirm packed one lor!!! So took from Pasir Ris to Tampines then bus-ed home, yeah!

Anyways saw this very cool thing on Rabbit's (Beatrice) blog, lol super cool man!

You know, we should SING SING SING, cause OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD, and we were MADE TO WORSHIP him. We should all sing HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD for his AMAZING LOVE has redeemed us for GOD IS GREAT and AT THE CROSS, He showed how great HIS LOVE is because of that SALVATION IS HERE and OUR REDEEMER LIVES!!! Finally back! Gosh,felt very lazy and all to blog but hecks! Just gonna do it!

So yeah okaye, today went to Stefan's place for chill-out and stuff but idiotically, I forgot to bring clothes and stuff though Claypot did tell me stuffs about swimming but oh wells, if Kim or Howard's reading this,yeah sorry for the delay and etc!! Oh yeah thanks to Kim, if you never talk about it I would stone at home lor, haha!

Anyways back to the day, reached his house then stone-d awhile before going and playing soccer with Stefan, Marius, Evan, Howard and Keith. Well, there was a short shower and the floor was wet and then slippery then kinda played barefooted too cos' don't wanna slip and you don't play soccer in slippers man! Glad to say, survive with one cut only, haha! Took a short shower and all later then played a round of Bang!
Okaye so like later rushed down to J8 cos Ben's there already, don't want make him wait if not later he pissed ah! HAHA! Um so then dinner came later, cold-chicken rice man, but it's not that bad,quite nice! The Q did matter abit though.. Q-ing up never rocks man =O

After dinner went to CafeCartel for the half-priced cake promo and played um 2 rounds of Bang! I think, haha! Was fun manxz!

I'd also like to introduce my new friend, the New York Cheesecake!

Was great fun and all, got home then conferenced with Clayton Howard Kim and um someone else if I left that person out, I can't remember anyways! Yeah, it's a good day I guess!

Hmm what else...yeah day before that, on 27th went to Airport for Amplify Log team cell/meetup. Had the biggest cell cos pratically everyone was here, haha! It was good as usual, with the company of friends and all and the cool view!

Dinner rocked too, Popeyes man!! Then afterwards bus-ed back to Hougang with Ben, last minute changed course, went to this pub Bern plays in @ SG Flyer (HAHA STUPOID WHEEL!) to check it out, it was a cool place man, music and drinks were great so was the setup, nice place to go back to!

Managed to catch last train back with Jonella though Isaac was not so lucky, how he got back that's a mystery!

Slept and stuff soon after then YI started! To sum it all up, the 4 days and 3 nights went by really really quick, I didn't even feel it cos I guess I got onto a high by the last day but anyways, it really rocked, seriously was a joy to serve people and do stuff I like, deco the place and all, yeah! 4 Days To YI MAN!!!! Oh well, here's a few updates and all! Mostly peekture form!

Out on the road one day, I can't remember went but yeah, the train was sure empty, remembered that I missed the first one then this one came along, oh wells good enough!
Happened yesterday, Veron suddenly randomly grabbed like chalks and started drawing on my book, loool...here's the best part:

Oh yeah I forgot to add this part in..the advantages and dis-advantages of the phone ):

The good: GPS with support for A-GPS; HSDPA; Wi-Fi; 8GB flash memory; Bluetooth A2DP; 3.5mm audio jack; good image quality.

The bad: Glossy surface attracts fingerprints; software was a little unstable on our review unit; side-mounted 3.5mm audio jack and volume rocker that doubles as zoom lever could be better placed.

Glossy surface agreed...the software part gotta see, the side mounted 3.5mm jack as well. I don't agree with the volume rocker placement though, I tried it personally and it's still okaye to use.

Oh yeah, the Innov8 scores 7.7 while the Sony Ericsson C905 scored 6.7, in your face. haha

Today's tiring man! sighhh~

Well first of all, woke up early today, bathed and stuff and got ready to go for Leo & Cass's wedding mass. Was almost late cos I was held up to use the toilet...zzz

Oh wells got to Bedok, tabao-ed my Mcgriddles meal or something and finished eating on the bus to church. One thing to say about the mass, it was great, it was really a joyous occasion too I'd say! After the mass had the reception but only had a few drinks cos' quite full. And met my godfamily too,HAHA!

Hung out awhile before finally heading to MRT station then trained with some of the log ppl + clayton + lydia's bro + terrence to have lunch at City Hall. Settled for Carl's Jr. @ Marina though. Freaking ex but filing. Butttt...later stomach screwed up, haiyo! Then afterwards rushed to huisuo and had the open house, yeahh was quite okaye I guess! LOL

Then walked to opposite and took bus to interchange and came home, yeah damn tired today, bye people!

Some little prick was complaining, quote,'this new configuration of seats in MRT trains, as he feels that more ugly commuter behaviour will be exhibited as a result.

He explains:
"I was appalled when I came across this refurbished MRT train with a seatless configuration. The whole column of seats are removed and left with only two bars on each side, probably for resting of bums."

"I find it really astonishing that SMRT is really doing something unbelievable to maximise the already maximised profits. Why not just label all remaining seats as 'Priority Seats', since only about 20 or 30 seats are left per carriage, especially so in the ageing society?"

"Now, the redundant announcement of 'please allow passengers to alight first' will be further ignored. Passengers will start to 'sprint' into the cabin for the precious seats instead of the current 'dashing'."

Quite true in a way, but some Gahmen offical did say something about it, oh wait here's the quote: Saw Phaik Hwa, president & CEO, SMRT, said: "The importance of the train is to ensure you can pack as many people as possible." And p.s., whenever there's Gahmen issues, it's quite hard to protest about it, haha!

I would like to thank Mr. Brown for putting out such a wonderful picture on what Mr Saw said, here's it: I kinda agree with the guy who said he disliked the new arrangement in a way; but I disagree cos' during the fucking peak hours, you'd get like crowds the size of IDK what, just know it's damn big, and like without seats, can pack more people in, downside's that you're gonna get people complaining they're dying cos lack of oxygen or smelly armpits and being mentally tramuatised cos they got touched or molested.

Yasou! Chemistry's down, 4 more papers to go!

Well today's paper's abit crapped up and stuff but as so many people have said, don't dwell on it! Yeah thanks y'all, now have to work for Physics and MCQ, Maths this friday!! WHOOTS~!

So yeah anyways, suddenly renaissance of the past year, like started from Janurary, okaye maybe even last year end, yeah it's so eventful, going out with people such as Veron, Yorklyn, Benedict, Clayton, Iggy, Edmund, Dickson, sometimes Nessa too and some other like yeah, good memories as you'd say..

Oh hecks, then came my first job, working at Tangs Orchard Island Shop. Had a good mate called Kelvin, once slacked all the way while at Subway during break, yeah cool time, maybe we'll hang out someday.

Then the day came where my results came, bummer, appealed and stuff didn't get through and I wasn't exactly keen on going to ITE so chose to re-take as private and took up private school.

Didn't really focus until June and stuffs though... In June though, it's kinda a good-morning-revival for me, cos it's my first YISS,'My Glorious!' Met some new people in my life and they really helped me in times of trouble like comforting me or just giving advice. With YISS then there're also Amplify Fridays, they're time I don't regret spending every Friday evening, just being there it felt like time has stopped.

Also I remember very clearly, once me and Benedict went crazy, we met up at Pasir Ris and went to Changi Airpork cos we were sending a dear girl off who's going to Perth, haha! Well yeah it was kinda random...

Oh wells it's kinda cool to go out on night outings sometimes too, it's like fun and not so much people around. Oh yeah, can avoid shopping malls too. In a report, it says that the longer people stay in Shopping Centres, the more money they spend!

Also in June went for HI Musical, LOL, yeah support you again Veron! HAHA XD Remember showed up with squisshed donuts cos the sign said no food and the box was like uber big, LOL. Um so like right now I think I typed enough, part 2 soon! When I scape up more photos and stuff.

So it's gonna get a lil stressful now, Monday's Chemistry then the exam cycle's gonna start, with Chemistry! Geeshxz, hope can pull through this time.

Like okaye, spent half the day out, not having fun but studying!

10.30am went out, reach hougang mall about 11plus. Met Clayton then had some food and started studying abit. Then later went to library to start again. After awhile, left for school, bloody hell cheesebun!!! Volvo Olympian 2-Axle damn it, for those who don't know it's the lousy double-decker non-air conditioned bus.

Well hecks, got there quite on time la compared to my normal Thursday mornings. Did cirumlative graphs or something, and like ended half an hour later though... then was abit late for study date with wanjin jie ): oh wells bought some food then worked on stuff for awhile, later walked her home then talked abit too.

Bus ride was quite fast, took 147 to Serangoon bus interchange then switched to 158 home, yeah! So right now, gonna study, updates in awhile and I'm freaking scared! Science pratical coming up so soon man, tmw would be my last day to prepare, then after the paper it'd be time to chiong Chemistry!

Suddenly waking up today I feel damn nostalgic manxz, it;s like pulling myself up for tuition? That didn't quite happen last year!

I enjoyed my Saturday mornings more than I do today I guess cos' going to school, there's this fun mood cos of the people there while going to tuition it's so f***ed, no one to go with and like get f***ing nagged at.

The week ahead so rushed up, Monday extra lessons, Tuesday I'd be doing Physics stuff with Jie, Wednesday school and then tuition. Thursday's D-Day, Uh-OH! Then Friday's very Chem-ed up, tuition then school lessons, all Chemistry man but evening going to the exam mass, I think I really need it, yeah!

To think I'm going there tomorrow, f***!!!

Well yeah, F1 Race's over, everything back to normal, outrageously early tuition tomorrow inclusive of early morning nagging then later in the afternoon not so bad tuition.

Today did some homewokr for maths and stuff from school plus started on some Physics, started from the basic stuff, did notes for them and stuffs, some were done while watching the F1 race on teevee! Finally done and had a slight headache man, I guess that's what happen if you aren't relaxed while studying.

Coming weeks are like crammed up manxz, tuition, last minute replacement lessons, study dates which are like serious! And needing major time to cover up on weak points on Physics, Chemistry and Maths...well mostly Physics lurh!

I think I'd update some other time for now it's enough, need to go rest soon, 8.30am @ Jalan Kayu man, so early!!!

Today studied at home for the most time, from like 11am plus till 4.40pm+ and that's when I realised I was running late manxz!! So rushed out and got to Bugis within..20 minutes! Then Master found me at the Guardian,LOL!
Anyways yeah went to Church Of St Peter and Paul for mass, really old church manxz! Well still okaye la, haha! Mass was quite okay. Father brought up a point about the F1 and God. It's like people said that they get high when they hear the noise of the F1 Car, very shiok!Then when they hear about God asking us to spread the word and his promises not as shiok.

And also he said that F1 dosen't just last till tomorrow night. Because the F1 is everlasting and the F1 I'm talking about is the faithful one, GOD! Yeah so later had dinner, super ex and the food not that great, in your face Kopitiam!

Headed off to SMU to have cell while walking there can hear the roar of the F1 Cars man, cos afterall we're quite near the epicenter of everything that's happening. Reached SMU then had some time finding place to sit cos the place damn crowded, settled down with Slyvester Master and Ben first then Justin came. Had another good cell, learnt some things here and there as well. And settled some admin stuff.

Later went up and heading out of the place then stopped by the bar cos they were screening like a live telecast of the F1 race and we could get the real authentic noise manxz! After awhile walked to City Hall Mrt and can hear the real close up roar of the car!! well tomorrow's the real thing, on TeeVee liao la!

Damn tired now man, HAHA!

This morning went to school after eating breakfast and stuffs...later went to eat at AMK Hub food court and then went to wait for bus and stuff to go to NUH cos visit someone who ended up there when she had like this problem.

But yeah, got distracted and checked out some Dickies' bags I saw at 77th Street there. Same style as Clayton's but different patterns and colours. Later totally stoned on the bus to there. Didn't really listen to Bus-Master cos the route was complicating so went to take the direct bus instead..took 166, bus ride was almost 2 hours manxz..other problem is that it's a freaking Volvo B10 Mark IV!! Not exaclty the kind for a very good road trip in mid-day...

Reached the lobby, stoned awhile before starting to study abit while waiting for the rest of the people to come too, went and passed the gifts I got and all, then headed off to CSC. Took a bus with Meimei Lizzy and 2 of her friends to Outram park then trained to Hougang. Went to find Clayton in Hg mall then headed to CSC first then afterwards go tabao food and all from 401.

Later kai gong,set up and stuff. Session was okok, good as usual! Everything else follows too, HAHA! then kai gong again to pack up, finish had milo then bus-ed home. Was telling Isaac I would get a Dennis Trident home and I did, LOL!

Now it's sian, studied and all, tomorrow starting early and have like f***ing tuition again, zzz..Oh wells friday got my last session before leaving and like Saturday have Cell! and Happy F1 Race people lol!

Well yeah for people who don't know she's my ex-sie (HAHA) Charlene...Why I wanna like dedicate this part of the post is kinda weird la, for one thing I know I'm envious cos this random girl suddenly tell me she got no exams o__o what to do la, her school different system.

Another thing's like though she went through so much, like getting seperated from her old school at STC and like me and her having gone through a (failed) relationship with me and like having recently broke up with someone she was with for so long, and like not having alot of family warmth around her, she still hangs onto life and live each day out.

Like yesterday she was going I wanna have a smile that bring sunshine into people's life, well yeah sounds childish but for her I feel it's something true because whenever I look at her it's like I feel innoence, a someone who'd care and love..yeah

So just to end stuffs off, yeah this is for you Cha, no matter what happens in life, always trust that it's all under control and remember that you're always loved, by the people around you, your friends and family and also God. Yeah jungle man...finally like settled down and blogged about the day and stuff..so had a lazy start, sorted out tuition homework then headed out for tuition.

It's kinda weird, I dread going there but like everytime tuition starts and all I feel that it's God's blessing, that my tutor ain't so naggy and stuffs, yeah and $90 fee turned into a can of drink and an orange, how expensive... Also thanks to Valerie (Jiejie =P) who kinda like sms-ed me now and then on the way there, kinda made my mood better, thank you!!

After tution, tried something different, headed over to the nearest MRT to Jalan Kayu, they called it Thanggam, wtf?? Anyways yeah the station was empty manxz...but yeah in this f***ed up weather at least the wait didn't take long.

Later took svc 80 (Volvo B9TL) to near my house cos' it dosen't like stop opposite, and like walked home, washed up and left home with family for mass, sadly didn't really concentrate, and like abit distracting to have yourself know that there're 2 girls you don't know who're like about yr age next to you, lol!

Hitched a ride to Toa Payoh, haha Valerie thought I was kidding when I kinda asked if wanna go out or stuff, so yeah..managed to contact Bus-Man, who was with Bus-Master and Wei De..and like their bus's gonna pass by Toa Payoh too! So went and managed to caught it, reached Bishan and like played a round or 2 of Battle Gear 4, I swear Bus-Man can break the bloody machine apart, lol and Bus Master or Steven was getting it on video then the Auntie was kinda bit*hed who said can't take photos and shit, like wtf? Not as if we're gonna take photo and like plan a bombing and shit, some free country man..

Anyways, crazily bus-ed down again to Hougang for Curry Chicken Noodles at Ave8, waiting for bus was kinda crapped as always but once it came it didn't really matter that much, yeah. Ate and had fun talking crap and had good food man, though Ben and Steven would agree that no kick lol...

Later walked around to like digest the food so yeah, randomly ended up walking the way to IMH or the Hougang Chalet, lol!

Okaye, YAY it's Friday! Spent basically half the morning till 1plus studying, listening to music, bathing, and eating, haha!

Later bus-ed on svc. 62 from outside my block which took longer than usual cos it's peak hour. It was like the one and only Volvo B10M Superlong (SBS997A) in Singapore. Reached Hougang then headed over and bought some stuff at Hougang Mall before going to the Amp Room and like started some self study, stoned at Physics and got damn demoralised so started doing Chemistry, finished then did some Maths as well. Had some help from Justin, Benedict and John Tan the Chichak man, haha!

Had dinner at 401 with Clayton Benedict Valerie and Gabriel, then headed back and yeah started preaparing for session. Quite a tiring day today man, lotsa jumping and stuff haha! But it was great..now's the confused part la, it's like thanks alot chao gahmen, cos of the education system, got stuff like O Levels yeah so I guess now's the time I took a hiatus from serving at Amp Fridays to like give my time to studying and all, yeahhh...well I have alot of stuffs to look forward to anyways after O's are over and done with, yay!

At the same time yeah, have been thinking about this problem over and over again manxz, like I've been seriously thinking about moving on from YCS already, like it dosen't give that home-ly feeling it used to have...well I guess for now I'll serve for the people I know and come to love and like see how yeah..so confused..and tired! Well start of a lazy day, it's Thursday... no classes today cos it's still prelim period, right now still waiting/studying/listening to music/using com till it's time to leave for Maths tuition at f***ing Jalan Kayu,yeahhh.

Earlier on my Mp3 just pissed me off! Right now aiming for a 120GB iPod manxz, cost about $398 or something currently... Well the iPod's quite an icon so yeah, plus the 120GB, yummy! HAHA! In a way I can dump my songs and stuff in without caring, so it's great!

Also now considering the Audio-Technica ATH-SJ3 to replace my 'bad choice' of the ONTO headphones I bought earlier on, yeah for this model losta people are using and the freq. range ain't that bad, what's even better?It can fold up into this kewl shape!

Okaye now I shall go finish up on my Chemistry stuff, updates tonight! After coming back from clean up with Justin @ CSC.

Ate then slacked around waiting for Justin to arrive with the key but Poonie and the worship team came first for their prac so slacked around and waited until Justin came. Mop-up was over rather fast, yeah finish returnign the stuff, slacked around then headed home! Yeah!

Well after a tramutising bus-ride finally reach J8, and I survived man! So anyways, quickly got Benedict's present, grabbed my very late lunch at SubWay and bus-ed over to Toa Payoh to go home. Took another svc no. 88 B9TL, then changed to the old 155 buses, hiazzz....

For now, abit sleepy and stuff after taking a siesta or something but like yeah, got work waiting for me now! Toodles people!!

It's Tuesday! Tonight's must watch show alot sial!

Anyways yeah, suddenly had a cravving for Burger King Breakfast, so yeah went today! First father dropped me off near AMK market, then bus-d on svc. 86 all the way till Sengkang. Trip took 1/2 hour -45mins plus. What was bad about the ride was that it's a Mercedes-Benz O405 (SBS 283B), one of your lau pokpok bus! Yeah not really a good ride though.

Reached, bought a Croissan'Wich meal. Yeah been sometime since had that, been waking up late,busy with tuition and yeah, a whole load of crap, lol!

Later bus-ed back again on 86 again, got a lil bit of sleep too. By the time I reached AMK was like 10.30am. Class started at 9am ands stuff but it seems the class just started only,lol. One word is that it's boringgg! lol. But yah, did work and stuffs anyways.

Went to Hougang after class to actually attend HIHS YCS games day but cheesebun, last mintute cancelled! Guard was f***ed up and had a very very f***ed up attitude as well.

But yeah, had a rather okaye time later, headed over to Hougang Mall with Benedict and Clayton and went to Library for chill time. Charmy came also with her friend. Yeah studied, crapped and like try and get ourselves from being throw outta library! HAHA!

Got to Macs after awhile, bought a drink then left. Gave the drink to Benedict later cos I had to run for bus!! Yeah turns out that SBS removed all but 1 Scania K230UB(which is the wheelchair-accessable bus, but not so passanger friendly cos very little seats) from the 62 fleet. Now have like 13 Volvo Olympian 3-axle (double-deckers!)

Though the big O's are like a month away, still got so much stuff to look forward to! (In random order,lol)

-Food Trails with Isaac and/or StevenSEE,Benedict or maybe Clayton.
-Coming phone, Samsung Innov8
-Amp Friday sessions
-Cell groups for Amp Movers, in YCS
-Outing! haha specifically shopping with Eliz Meimei,outing with gdfrnds and so on..

-YCS Eoy Camp: My 4th YCS EOY Camp, yeahhh probably taking a step back, do facil instead.
-Public Holidays! Bonding with family, relatives, friends even!

Also like there're plently of other stuff la but can't think of em' at the moment. One of the things I also had in mind was like after my O's and stuff, I'll set aside a day, maybe on the day of my last paper to just like get away from the world, and like be with myself. I'll resolve not to go online and not to use internet for example. It'd be a day I'd say for me to reflect on myself and like just pray and give praises for all he has done for me, yeah and as well as plan what to do ahead.

In addition from now till O's, trying to like practice good sleeping habits: Be in bed before 1AM! So like on the day of my paper's I won't be like shagged out and stuff just because my body can't take the sudden change in wake up time.

I guess that's all for now, gonan go tuition and pick up someone's present tomorrow, zhao!

Singaslaves :From 248 000 in the early 90's to more than 750 000 nowadays, the foreign low-skilled (and very low-paid) workers are now a a vital element of the booming singaporean economy and a huge component of the population (18% of the 4.6 millions people living there)

Although a lot of Singaporeans pretending not to be racist tend to say that the real singaporean population is 3.7 million (as if the foreign workers were not part of the population)... Not so fun to be a foreign worker in the construction sites. Of course, if you come from Sri Lanka, India or Bangladesh (or Myanmar, or Indonesia, etc), the pitiful 600 singapore dollars ( around 310 US dollars or 290 euros) salary you earn for the work is far more than the average wages you could earn in your native countries.

Of course, you can buy a nice handphone or mp3, and maybe send a bit for the relatives you've left. So i guess i can understand when some of them i've talked to told they are quite happy here.
But... They work like dogs, they are carried in lorries like cattle. They are lonely. They are too poor to rent flats and in the miserable dormitories where they live, there is usually no comfort and very strict rules: no gathering, no drinking, no smoking, no guests, no talks after 10pm...

So some of them gather in the evening around HDB (public housing residences) void decks and eat, drink and talk, as they used to do in India or in their native countries. Of course, there are sometimes loud noises and other little troubles for the neighbourhood, and I guess sometimes worse things. Some residents seem to be very bothered by that - obviously more than when it's a rowdy ah bengs (local chinese singaporean bad boys) gathering.

In the newspapers, some residents say they created "vigilant groups" so as to catch foreign workers urinating or drinking around the HDBs. Some "not racist" madams say they are too afraid to go out when there are foreign workers around their residences and that their smell is unbearable (!). Some threw bags full of urine at foreign workers gathered under their windows... Classy.

The Prime Minister himself had to remind that foreign workers are human too and they are a necessary part of the economy, hence they deserve more tolerance and respect from the Singaporean citizens - who by the way are very often descendents from migrant workers.What a friendly country.

Great time today! Haha!

Basically went down to Raffles Place first, waited around for people to come first before like moving out with the Log people to One Marina Bouldevard, checked out the kewl-ness of the place!! Charged-Up with Friday man!

So here's the food for tonight! Me and Ben had like Japanese Curry Rice, had rice with Chicken cutlets while Ben had it with fried potatoes. Had like 20 sticks of Satay as well, 5 sticks Chicken, 5 sticks Mutton, 5 sticks Duck, 5 sticks Beef.

Later walked over to One Fullerton which is by the Singapore Riverside to have cell at Starbucks. Before that, saw NTUC Business Centre opposite the river.

OMG So nice la, the lights were on and it was like gleaming and like the NTUC logo was changing colours. In the picture, the buidling with the light in a curve shape's the Sail which is like a condo in the middle of the CBD, crazyily expensive la I guess!

Had Ice Vanilla Latte at Starbucks later, one Grande size $6.30, hiaz lol! Well at least have a bigger cup of iced water for free! Cell was overall great, had a good time sharing and stuff. But cos started late so had a shorter time.

Anyways, gonna wake up early tomorrow to go to Beach Road Army Market with Victor and Justin, last minute shopping for the soon-to-be-army-boy, haha!

So like I said, went to J8 and get my Chris Tomlin album. Found a quicker way there though, from school just take bus svc no. 13 at the bus stop in front. Downside? It was a Mercedes-Benz O405, toot toot toot! Oh wells never mind, well here's the thing!

Yeah, looked for new headphones too, ONTO's ain't giving very good quality so rather get something better rather then something just based on style but sub-standard sound.
